Allen is responsible for ramping up innovation across the LG Health network. This includes facilitating innovative problem solving that integrates processes, tools, and techniques developed at the Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation in Philadelphia. Allen also manages Penn Medicine LG Health’s technology planning and new venture partnerships.
Prior to joining LG Health, Allen held functional and general management roles for over 25 years in printing and information management, building products, industrial products, and financial and economic research. In these roles he has developed and executed successful growth and turn-around strategies, launched innovative new products and services, and led complex businesses with global reach.
Allen holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Harvard University.
Allen has published articles about CHCI-LGH projects in Hepatology and The Journal of Lancaster General Health.
